Dylan Scott’s Hooked is hooked on the country chart at number 11. It should be hooked and dragged to some other chart besides the country charts. Really Nashville, get real and start putting out real country music!
The number 20 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country for the week of September 15, 2018, is Dan + Shay’s Speechless. It should be chartless on the country charts.
A bright spot for country music on Billboard’s Hot Country is Midland’s Burn Out. Way to go guys. It may not have the traditional country sound but it certainly has the real flavor of country music. It reminds me of the music from the movie Urban Cowboy. Way to go guys, good job!
Now that Taylor Swift has finally been put in the right genre (pop), Kelsea Ballerini has taken her place on the country charts. Is there no hope for country music.
Another great example of how country music is going to the dogs. Hey Blake, name this dog and call it “Ain’t Country!”
Good grief, Good Girl by Dustin Lynch is moving up Billboards Hot Country chart. Unbelievable! Will someone in Nashville please call me and explain how this song is country?
I just listened to Blake Shelton’s new song Turnin’ Me On. Okay, Blake Shelton has been one of the few bright spots in recent years on the country charts by keeping contemporary country music on the charts. But this song is a sell-out to pop music. Perhaps influenced by his girlfriend Gwen Stefani. Come on Blake, get back to country, please. This is what happens when a great country song like I’ll Name the Dogs only reaches # 6 on the country charts and songs like Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road” makes number one on the country charts.
